My research is in algebra, and revolves around the general theme of algebras with involution, with connexions to algebraic groups, quadratic forms, Galois cohomology, and ordered structures.

One of the main themes in my work is the construction of invariants of objects, particularly cohomological invariants. A pattern that has emerged during my thesis is the systematic use of lambda-operations to build non-trivial invariants (notably for Witt classes of quadratic forms and hermitian forms over algebras with involution).
